私の大事な友人を紹介します
今回は私の尊敬する友人の１人、江口喜多枝さんをご紹介します。
彼女との出会いは１０数年前。奉仕活動の仲間として知り合いました。
私は１９９５年モンゴルで初のロータリークラブを作るのを手伝いました。設立後まもなくモンゴルで
草原の大火災があり、私は仲間と共に現地で緊急治療に力を注ぎました。http://www.drandy.com/lifework/mongol.html
日本に戻って、ロータリーの友人にモンゴルの状況を話したところ、一番関心を持たれたのが江口さん
でした。江口さんは、その後１０年以上かけてモンゴルに対する奉仕活動を行い広げられました。
特に子供の教育に力を注がれました。
この度、彼女の功績が称えられ、日本財団から表彰されることになったそうです。
この授賞式には旭鷲山、元駐米日本大使を始め、政界の要人など江口さんの人徳によって
たくさんの方々が出席されるそうです。もちろん私も出席させて頂く予定です。
